State troopers are asking for public’s help in finding a hit-and-run suspect in an accident where a man lost his leg.
It all happened off Hoehn and Rogers Roads northwest of Edinburg on Tuesday night.
Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) state troopers reported that Felipe Turrubiates was riding his bicycle when he was hit in the car.
The driver fled the scene leaving Turrubiates bleeding from his injuries.
According to Fox 2, doctors had to amputate one of 63-year-old man's legs but state troopers reported on Thursday that he’s now listed in stable condition.
The only description state troopers have is that the vehicle might have damage to the front right side.
