Vanessa’s Daycare on 2900 North Erica Street in Pharr is busted with 19 demerits during a health inspection.
               
The report indicates roaches feces and mold both turned up under the kitchen sink.
               
Brisna Vera, assistant manager at the center, claimed action has been taken to correct the problems.
               
“That guy [inspector] came like two days ago and said that we need to clean with Clorox and stuff like that,” she told the Food Patrol.  “We’ve been doing it.”
               
But during a tour of the facility, the Food Patrol discovered that the problems remained.
               
“Is the daycare safe?” Action 4’s Ryan Wolf asked. 
               
“Yea, it is,” Brisna responded.
