Six suspects arrested in connection to San Benito teen's murder

Authorities have arrested six people in connection to the murder of a San Benito teenager.

San Benito police reported detectives made the arrests over Monday and Tuesday.

The six are accused in the early Monday morning murder of 19-year-old Angel Perez.

Investigators said the teenage cancer survivor was found stabbed off Winchell and Rockefeller Streets.

Police identified the suspects as:

• Esteban Rodriguez, 22
• Miguel Angel Perez, 18
• Robert John Anthony Martinez, 18
• Jose Lazaro Ramos, 21
• JJ Leal, 18
• Ruby Nadine Sanchez, 23

The six are expected to be arraigned on murder charges on Wednesday morning.
