Marijuana seized from Fed Ex truck at checkpoint

Members of the Action 4 News team worked together to bring you this report.

A Fed Ex ground vehicle was seized by federal agents at the Falfurrias checkpoint carrying more than 100 pounds of marijuana.

The drugs were found in the cab of the 18-wheeler which is said to be out Edinburg.

The Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) is investigating.

The driver was taken into custody and the Fed Ex truck was retured to the Edinburg station.
