Elderly man threatens violence when denied license

The Texas Department of Public Safety is looking for an elderly man who made threats at the Harlingen Driver License Office on Tuesday.

The man, in his early to late 70’s, went to the DPS office to renew his license.

The suspect became upset when an employee said that his transaction could not be processed.

According to DPS, the man became very upset and made various threats of violence.

The suspect is described as being a white male with grey hair with a height of 5 ft. 6 in-8 in. and weighting 150-170 pounds.

He was last seen driving away from the office in an early model, light-color Chrysler passenger car.
