Election Night has special meaning for the folks at Action 4 News.

It's the four-year anniversary of launching our account on Twitter.

Action 4 News started Twitter during Election Night 2008 with just 21 followers.

Since that time, Action 4 News has grown to 13,000 followers making it the #1 Twitter account in the entire Rio Grande Valley.

On Election Night 2012, Twitter followers will be able to participate in a two-screen experience.

Tweets from viewers about the election using the hashtag #RGVote will be featured on a crawl at the bottom of screen throughout the night on LIVE television.

Thank you for making @kgbt the Valley's number one account on Twitter.
