The Hidalgo County Annex Building in Edinburg is known to be the busiest polling location in Hidalgo County.

It’s not only the Presidential race that has people coming out to cast their ballots, but it’s the city, county and school board races as well.

Campaign workers are out in full force trying to persuade voters to vote for their candidate or candidates.

Candidates are also attributing high voter turnout to the hard work of AACT Now and social media.

The social media, the internet and television advertisements are also helping driving the message home for many candidates as many registered voters cast their vote.

While some candidates are resorting to social media, others are sending out email blast begging for votes.

On Facebook, candidates are also creating conversations and engaging with voters in effort to garner last minute support.

On Tuesday night, Action 4 News will be utilizing Twitter to make your voices heard LIVE on-air during the newscast.

We’ll be using the hashtag #RGVote and #RGV

At the Hidalgo County Annex Building we’re told voters are being turned away, because they are at the wrong precinct.

Some, we’re told, leaving and not voting or going to the correct precinct to vote.

The polls close Tuesday at 7 p.m.

Precincts are listed on ValleyCentral.com.   Tonight at 7 p.m.  Action 4 News  have extensive coverage on Campaign 2012: Expect More.

Also, join in on the conversation.
