A 6-year-old boy was playing t-ball outside of his home when he found a loaded gun by his fence.
It happened Saturday morning at his home on Freddy Fender Lane and Francisco Madero Street.
The boy walked up to the gun, picked it up and flipped it over.
After calling his dad, his dad told him to move away and not touch it. The father then called San Benito Police.
San Benito police said that the gun was stolen and registered to a person from the Dallas area.

On Friday night, an aggravated assault took place in the area.
Neighbors and police believe that the gun could have been dropped or hidden in the yard from the violence the night before.
