Americans traveling to the interior of Mexico will notice that the time is one hour behind the United States.

Mexico moved the clock back one hour as part of daylight savings time early Sunday morning.

The United States does not “fall back” one hour until Sunday, November 4th.

Reynosa, Matamoros, Nuevo Laredo, Piedras Negras, Ciudad Juarez, Tijuana and 27 other border cities aren’t changing their clocks.

Back in March 2010, the 33 border cities decided to keep American time in order to avoid disruptions to commerce and travel.

Television schedules from Mexico’s national media outlets will be off by one hour until the United States goes into daylight savings.
