A San Benito man remains behind bars after being accused of child molestation.

San Benito police booked Rene Barrientes into the Cameron County Jail on Friday.

Barrientes is accused of three counts of indecency with a child by contact.

Details were not immediately available but the case remains under investigation.

Barrientes remains in custody at the Cameron County Jail.
