A Hidalgo woman is expected to face a judge after being arrested as the fourth suspect in a kidnapping on the UTPA campus back in September.

UTPA police reported that officers arrested the 36-year-old woman on an aggravated kidnapping charge.

The woman is accused of participating in the September 25th kidnapping of a student in a parking lot.

The young woman was reunited with her family without having to pay ransom.

Investigators believe that the woman arrested as the fourth suspect helped in transporting and relocating the victim in her vehicle.

Suspects Miguel Navarro, Milton Treviño, 20 and Onan Herrera-Sanchez all remain in custody.

Navarro and the woman arrested as the fourth suspect are all expected to be charged with engaging in organized criminal activity at 3:30 p.m. today.

Treviño and Herrera-Sanchez are expected to be arraigned on the same charges Friday afternoon.
