Looking for something fun to do with the entire family this Halloween in exchange for that traditional trick-or-treating adventure?

Head on over to the Gladys Porter Zoo in Brownsville!

"Boo at the Zoo" is a Halloween tradition at the zoo, done as an alternative to roaming the neighborhood for candy.

Cristina Caballero from Gladys Porter Zoo brought along a creepy crawling Tarantula to Action 4 Sunrise on Wednesday to talk more about the event.

There will be over 60 carnival-style games and treat stations, along with a frightening haunted house for all to enjoy.

The spooky event is on October 30th and the 31st from 6-9 p.m.

If you're a zoo member, you get to go through those gates beginning at 5 p.m.

Discounted pre-sale tickets are $2.50 and will be on sale through October 29th.

If you purchase your tickets the day of the event, they'll be bumped up one dollar to $3.50.

For more information you can call (956) 546-7187.
