A usual stroll along Amanda street in Weslaco is what this unidentified woman enjoys doing nightly.

Monday night was anything but usual.

A man selling his two vehicles was shot in the chest.

"I looked, then I ran, I saw everything "said anonymous

She said she saw a car approaching Juan Luna's home.

Next thing she witnessed, was someone firing a gun at Luna, just feet away from where she was standing.

"I was hiding in the tree, and that’s when Juan Luna defended himself.  That’s when he shot back," said anonymous

According to the Hidalgo County Sheriff's department, Luna was selling his two vehicles at his house.

The suspects allegedly wanted to purchase Luna’s two cars, instead the men pulled out a revolver and started shoot.

Investigators said Luna, pulled out his own gun and fired back at the two suspects.

"I think they were trying to steal his cars, he has nice cars" said anonymous

The witness said she didn’t see the two suspects run from the scene.

Luckily for the unidentified woman, she was not hurt in the gunfire.

Investigators said the victim that was shot in the chest is expected to recover.
