Edinburg police have arrested a fourth suspect in this weekend’s deadly drive-by shooting.

Police said 17-year-old Miguel Vasquez was at the ‘wrong place at the wrong time’ when he was shot and killed on the 300 block of South 29th Street in Edinburg Saturday.

So far, three adult males and one female have been arrested.

Edinburg investigators told Action 4 News the investigation remains active and more arrests are expected.

The shooting happened when 17-year-old was at a party to pick someone up.

Police said he was standing in a crowd of 20 to 30 people when the shots rang out.

He was rushed to a local hospital, but was pronounced dead a short time later.

Investigators confirm gang members present at this party, but Vasquez was not their target.

The suspects will face a judge at 3 p.m. on Monday, and will be charged with first degree murder.
