Teen from Donna rollover accident dies

One of the 15-year-old's involved in a rollover accident in Donna on Tuesday has died.

Alfredo Montoya III died at Rio Grande Medical Center on Saturday.

Montoya and another teen passenger were in an accident on Victoria Road near Lott Road.

Authorities said the driver was traveling at a high rate of speed and lost control of the vehicle, hit a concrete irrigation pipe and overturned into a canal.

The other teen involved remains in stable condition.

The crash remains under investigation.
