The University of Texas-Pan American Police Department sent an alert out to all students Tuesday evening about a possible kidnapping on campus.

A witness called police at around 7:15 p.m. and said that they saw a woman being forced into a car at parking lot LOT T2 near Van Week and the Education Building.

Two suspects are involved in the case.

They are described as both being Hispanic.

One of the men was wearing a striped shirt with a tattoo and birthmark on his left arm.

He was also described as having a dark complexion and having a light beard.

The second man was wearing a dark colored shirt and is described as being 5’ 8”, in his mid-to-late 20’s and weighing 240 pounds.

The witness said that one of the suspects had their hand over the woman’s mouth and that the vehicle she was being forced into was silver and black, possibly a Mercury Cougar.

Anyone with information can contact UTPA police at 665-7151.
