UTPA officials issue alert for parking lot flasher

Authorities are asking UTPA students to be on the lookout for a man who exposed himself to a young woman in a school parking lot.

It all happened in Parking Lot B off Kuhn Street and North Sugar Road around 7:10 p.m. Tuesday.

UTPA police received a report that man exposed himself while sitting in his vehicle in the parking lot.

No injuries were reported but the man fled the sceen and was last seen heading westbound on Kuhn Street in a white Chevy SUV.

Suspect is described as a Hispanic male, mid to late 20s, light skin complexion, short dark hair on the sides and a bit longer on top, wearing a white shirt and green shorts. 

School officials sent out an alert to students on Thursday afternoon.

Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call the UTPA Police Department at (956) 665-7151.
