A Monte Alto man accused of shooting at a crop dusting plane faced a judge on Thursday morning.
Hidalgo County Sheriff's Office deputies have charged 50-year-old Richard Lisboa with deadly conduct.
Investigators believe Lisboa fired at a crop dusting plane from outside his Nitler Road home on Wednesday morning.
The pilot was not injured but the plane was damaged on the right wing.
Lisboa appeared before a judge for his arraignment at the Hidalgo County Jail on Thrusday morning.
Court records show that Lisboa did not appear to have a criminal history but investigators said he made numerous complaints about crop dusters.
Lisboa remains behind bars under $600,000 dollars in bonds.
