Buffalo Wings & Rings on 1600 North Westgate in Weslaco is exposed with the most demerits this week on Food 4 Thought.
The restaurant is busted with 35 demerits, according to an initial health report last month.
A kitchen cop notes nearly a dozen violations.
The report lists a temperature concern with wings, unsound condition of raw chicken, as well as dirty utensils, just to name a few.
A waitress at the eatery appears shocked when the Food Patrol reveals why they are there.
“Thirty-five demerits,” Action 4’s Ryan Wolf said.
“Oh, wow!” she responded.
Management never speaks with the Food Patrol to answer questions into the dirty dining.
Roaches are just some of the problem at the Dairy Queen on North Texas Boulevard in Weslaco.
The restaurant racks up 21 demerits on its recent health report.
Manager Ivan Sotelo places the blame for dirty conditions squarely on staff.
He claims the location has been busy leaving little time to clean.
Workers are now making sure to pitch in more, according to the manager.
“Pest control has been called,” he said. “Now we’re doing good things.”
