Action 4 News went into the kitchen and behind the scenes of the RGV Cupcake Factory.
They were the recent winners of the show called “Cupcake Wars” on the Food Network.
Co-owners Erica and Sabrina Rodriguez, along with one of their friends, applied for the show, got accepted, and took home $10,000 as they won the grand prize.
Action 4 News reporter Hannah Linn got a peek inside the factory’s busy kitchen, and was able to chat with the ladies who make it all happened.
The owners introduced various cupcakes that they sell including the Betty White, Kim Kardashian, Justin Bieber and many more celebrities inspired treats.
They even showed Hannah how to whip up a batch of cakes and frost some on her own.
Ever since the win, business has been booming for the shop on North 10th Street.
With the prize money, the ladies hope to open up another location to continue bringing something sweet to the Valley.
