Two people are wanted for questioning after a weekend stabbing left a 20-year-old man fighting for his life.

It all happened on the 2400 block of Munich Street on the city’s northwest side early Sunday morning.

Investigators told Action 4 News that Brownsville police were called to the scene around 3:30 a.m. Sunday.

Officers found a 20-year-old man stabbed in the chest.

Authorities identified the suspects as 29-year-old Betsabe L. Rios and 20-year-old Francisco Ramos.

The two fled the scene but officers found their car on the 1100 block of Morningside Road.

Police said the stabbing victim remains hospitalized in critical but stable condition.

Anyone with information about the whereabouts of Rios or Ramos is asked to call Brownsville Crime Stoppers at (956) 546-TIPS.
