Authorities are investigating the early morning robbery of an ATM machine near McAllen's La Plaza Mall.
It all happened at the Inter National Bank off South 10th Street and Exprssway 83 around 7 a.m. Sunday.
McAllen police told Action 4 News that they were first called to the bank for a suspicious circumstances call.
Officers arrived and found the ATM machine pried open with the money missing.
The case remains under investigation.
A spokeswoman for Inter National Bank did not immediately return calls for comment from Action 4 News.
