Due to re-districting and changed precincts, some people in Hidalgo County were confused as to where to cast their ballot.

Voters have had to go to locations different than the ones they used before.

According to county officials, however, they've done all they can to make people aware of their proper polling locations.

"There are 74 polling locations in Hidalgo County,” said Elections Administrator Yvonne Ramon. “On Election Day you must go to the precinct that represents where you live. Don't stand in line, wait until you get to the table, check in, and realize you're in the wrong poll location.”

County officials said that they want election day to be easily accessible for voters, and with as little confusion as possible.
