The party has begun at Burns Elementary School in Brownsville.

Supporters have gone all out for their candidates.

From crazy shoes to humorous masks, many have gone out to the polling location to campaign.

Even President Obama made an appearance.

16,784 voters turned out to vote early in Cameron County, and campaigners are hoping to see more than that throughout the day.

The polls close at 7 p.m.
