Authorities are investigating the murder of a Corpus Christi man whose body was found shot 'execution-style' outside Corpus Christi.
Nueces County Sheriff’s Office deputies are investigating the murder of 43-year-old Guillermo Alonso of Alamo.
KZTV-TV reported that that Alonso’s body was found shot to death off Clarkwood Road and FM 665 on Wednesaday.
The Corpus-Christi-based TV station reported that investigators identified Alonso as a Rio Grande Valley.
Records show that that Alonso’s last known address was reported in South Alamo and that he did not appear to have a criminal history.
The Corpus Christi Caller-Times reported that Alonso had been shot ‘execution-style’ at least seven times.
A motive for the murder is not clear but Nueces County deputies are in Alamo where they’re interviewing family members and others.
