Advance the next generation to a new level of education is the goal of GenTex day.

It's a movement that started last year in order to encourage high school seniors to further their education and become successful.

The goal is for college graduates to offer up their support by sporting a t-shirt from their alma mater, and offer up their best advice for students looking to head to college next year.

This morning on sunrise, Martha Gutierrez from Tech Prep sat down and discussed GenTx Day, and how you can participate.
