A domestic violence kidnapping suspect has been rushed to a local hospital after being shot by a deputy U.S. Marshall in the Little Mexico area of southern Hidalgo County.
San Juan police told Action 4 News that it all started with a domestic violence incident off East 7th Street and Cesar Chavez Road late Wednesday morning.
It ended with the man allegedly kidnapping his girlfriend and taking her to a home on the 200 block of San Bernadindo Street.
The home is located in the Little Mexico area just south of Alamo where a team of law enforcement were called to the scene.
Investigators told Action 4 News that authorities rescued the kidnapped woman through a rear window of the home.
A deputy U.S. Marshall shot the suspect after he allegedly saw him reaching for something.
Paramedics rushed the suspect to a local hospital where he condition is not known at this time.
