Two suspects arrested in deadly Edinburg home invasion

Authorities have made two arrests in connection to a deadly home invasion that took place east of Edinburg.

The incident took place at a home off Rambo Street back on April 12th.

Hidalgo County Sheriff's Office deputies reported that the homeowner died from his injuries.

The man's son was shot but survived.

Deputies found one of the suspects wounded at a nearby convenience store.

The sheriff's office reported on Monday that an investigation led deputies to make two arrests in connection to the home invasion.

One of the suspects is expected to be arraigned at 2 p.m. Monday.

Action 4 News will provide more information as it becomes available.
