One of Mexico's presidential candidates is expected to make a campaign stop in Matamoros on Friday.

Josefina Vasquez Mota is the candidate for the PAN, the ruling party. She's currently second in the polls.

She's expected to be at the Salon Buen Hogar tomorrow at 4:30 p.m. Friday.

Its the first visit by one of the candidates to the area during the campaign.

Mexico is holding its presidential elections in July.
