Woman remains missing after SUV found abandoned near Roma

Authorities are trying to find the owner of a Land Rover found abandoned with bullet holes near Roma last week.

Starr County Sheriff’s Office Violent Crimes Unit released a photo of Edith Obregon Bermudes on Tuesday in hopes of finding her.

Investigators told Action 4 News that her vehicle was found with the engine running and bullet holes in the side.

Deputies traced the license plates to a home in the Mid-Valley but investigators are still trying to locate Bermudes.

There was no indication of a struggle and no blood was found inside the vehicle.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Starr County Violent Crimes Unit at 956-487-5571.
