A La Villa man sits in a New York jail accused of allowing his friends to sexually abuse three children.

La Villa Police said an Action 4 story may have led to the arrest of 23-year-old Jose Rostro.

Police said after we showed you his mug shot, someone called in with a tip that he was in New York.

La Villa Police gave that info to the U.S. Marshals, and the U.S. Marshals arrested Rostro Wednesday.

Rostro is an alleged leader of the Sureño gang.

Police said he lived with a four, five and six-year-old in La Villa and facilitated their sexual abuse.

"They used to have parties,” said La Villa Police Lieutenant Daniel Kafka.  “He used to bring all these guys over, and they used to drink and smoke marijuana, and he allowed other individuals to molest the children."

Child Protective Services had reportedly removed the children from their mother’s home prior to them living with Rostro.

The children were placed with relatives, and that is where police said the abuse began.

A woman who claimed to have raised Rostro said he was innocent.

She lived with Rostro and said abuse could not have happened, because she was constantly watching the children.

Police said the children made an outcry to their current foster mom.

Two more men remain in custody accused of sexual abusing the kids, but police said one of the suspects may have more victims.

Police said 19-year-old Jazmin Zervantes may have sexually abused other children.

They said they hope more victims will come forward.

Police expect Rostro will be extradited back to the Valley.
