Lady Luck paid a visit to the Rio Grande Valley on Tuesday night.
Texas Lottery Commission officials have confirmed a ticket worth $250,000 dollars was sold at a McAllen convenience store.
The Mega Millions ticket was sold at a Stripes convenience store located at 1622 N. 23rd Street in McAllen.
The ticket did not get the Mega Ball but matched five out of the five lottery numbers.
It's not clear if the ticket buyer has come forward to claim the prize but lottery officials confirmed it was not quick pick.
Lottery officials reported that the McAllen ticket is one of four $250,000 dollar winners sold in Texas.
The other tickets were sold at the Millennium Mart in Carrollton, Quick Shop Food Mart in Fort Worth and New Airline Grocery in Houston.
There was no grand prize winner for the Mega Millions lottery on Tuesday night.
With no winner in 16 drawings over the past seven weeks, the jackpot is expected to grow to $290 million dollars for Friday night.
