A Weslaco restaurant takes the Food Patrol’s message, “keep it clean,” to a whole new level.
El Rincon del Sazon on 3214 E. Mile 11 has a sign with the words on it leading into the kitchen.
Owner Viridiana Trevino said it helps to motivate staff.
She’s a Food Patrol fan.
“We watch [Food 4 Thought] cause we as customers… when we go somewhere else… we like to make sure we’re eating at a place that’s sanitary and we’re not going to get sick and the food is good,” she said.
The eatery can now back up its commitment to clean with a top performer sticker.
The Food Patrol personally delivered the sticker on Wednesday afternoon.
El Rincon del Sazon is one of three restaurants recognized this week for perfect health inspection reports.
