Two teens are behind bars following a heist where they were caught on tape stealing $128,000 dollars worth of jewelry.
Harlingen police arrested 18-year-old Dalton Hinojosa and 19-year-old Samantha Lee Saucedo on Monday.
The two are accused of stealing more than $128,000 worth of jewelry from the SB Jewelry Corner at Valle Vista Mall back on February 28th.
Hinojosa was caught on camera stealing the jewelry from envelopes and handing it to Saucedo.
An investigation led detectives to both Hinojosa and Saucedo.
Harlingen police spotted Saucedo driving a Chevrolet Trailblazer off Haine Drive around 10:30 a.m. Monday and arrested her.
Police arrested Hinojosa at his Mariposa Drive home around noon on Monday.
The two appeared before a Harlingen municipal judge later that day where they were each issued $20,000 dollars in bonds.
