Authorities have reported arresting a suspect in a February 5th murder that took place north of Alamo.

Hidalgo County Sheriff's Office deputies found the body of 39-year-old Oscar Treviño back on February 5th.

Treviño’s body was found in a neighborhood near the intersection of Iowa and Tower Roads north of Alamo late Sunday night.

Records show that Treviño lived in Castroville, Texas and had a lengthy criminal history.

Investigators believe Treviño may have been a member of the La Raza Unida prison gang.

Deputies reported on Thursday morning that investigators have made an arrest for Treviño's murder.

The identity of the suspect is expected revealed during his arraignment later this morning.
