Our Marcy Martinez went to Brownsville Friday morning to spend the day as principal at Lucio Middle School.
When Marcy arrived, she was greeted by the band, students and staff.
She spoke on the intercom to say the Pledge of Allegiance and the schools announcements.
Marcy interacted with the students by visiting them in their classrooms, listening to the choir, and shaking their hands.
She was honored to have been chosen to be principal for the day and to have been able to meet everyone at the middle school.
