A man who skipped out on his drug trafficking trial in Georgia has been arrested after being found with drugs and guns at a home in Mission.
Investigators told Action 4 News that Raul Eduardo Prado was supposed to go to trial in Lawrenceville, Georgia on Wednesday.
Prado skipped his drug trafficking trial and is now considered a fugitive by the Gwinnett County Sheriff's Office in Georgia.
Investigators said Prado owns a home in Port Isabel and a ranch outside Edinburg.
U.S. Marshalls located the 56-year-old suspect at a home in Mission where authorities found marijuana and two handguns.
Authorities believe Prado came to Texas to look for a witness in his trial and had considered him armed and dangerous.
