One of two suspects is behind bars after a shoplifting spree turned into gunpoint robbery at the Weslaco WalMart.
Weslaco police arrested 21-year-old Luis Yanez on an aggravated robbery charge.
Investigators told Action 4 News that store security saw two men stealing clothes around 1:30 p.m. Saturday.
Security employees confronted the two shoplifters but one of them pulled out a gun and pointed it at them.
Police were able to identify Yanez as one of the suspects but the other one remains at large.
The second suspect is identified as a young Hispanic male with a thin build last seen wearing a black hooded sweater and white shorts with black stripes on the sides.
Yanez appeared before a Weslaco municipal judge where he was issued a $150,000 dollar bond.
