Authorities are asking for the public’s help in finding a convicted sex offender who has failed to report over the past eight years.

San Juan police told Action 4 News that Homero Guerrero is wanted for Sex Offender Failure to Register, a 2nd degree Felony.

In February of 1999, Guerrero was convicted of the offense of Aggravated Sexual Assault on a Child.

As part of his conviction Guerrero was obligated to register as a sex offender but he failed to register yearly as of 2004.

Guerrero is described as a 32-year-old Hispanic male, 5 feet 6 inches and weighing 180 pounds. He has brown hair and brown eyes.

His last registered address was located at an apartment complex located at the 900 block of West Citrus Street in San Juan.

Anyone with information of the whereabouts of Homero Guerrero is encouraged to call the San Juan Crime Stoppers hotline at (956) 283-8477 or log on to www.sanjuancrimestoppers.com.

All information is kept confidential and can lead up to a $1,000 dollar reward.
