Edinburg Police arrested a second person in connection to an undercover sting at a strip club.
Crystal Salas from Sullivan City is behind bars.
Police accused her of selling cocaine to two undercover cops back in December.
"We went ahead and sent some undercover officers with some federal agencies they managed to make some purchases of cocaine from employees," Lt. Oscar Treviño said.
Salas was an exotic dancer at Jaguars Gold Club, west of Edinburg.
The strip club was the target of an undercover sting, the second one in less than a year. Edinburg Police also targeted them back in July.
"The drugs were readily made available to anybody that wanted to make the purchases," Lt. Treviño said.
So far, Salas is the second person charged in connection to the case.
Earlier this week, officers arrested Christoper Wayne Lynn.
He was a bouncer at Jaguars; police say he also sold cocaine to undercover cops.
"The calls for police service are increasing day by day," he added, referring to the establishment. “And the crimes that are being reported out of there are extremely violent.”
Treviño said the club owners are not facing charges at this time, but because of the nature of the calls and crimes behind closed doors, the police department could take action against the strip club.
"A nuisance abatement is always an option and that is on the table at this time," Lt. Treviño added.
Police continue identifying other workers who may have taken part in the crimes.
They expect more arrests in the coming days
