Gunfire lands two men behind bars in Edinburg

A shooting just outside downtown Edinburg has ended with two people being taken into custody.

It all happened off Saltillo Street around 12 p.m. Monday.

Investigators told Action 4 News that gunshots were fired but nobody was injured.

It’s not clear why the guns were fired but police said two people involved fled into a house.

Both people are in custody.

Action 4 News will provide more information as it becomes available.
