Shooting follows mall parking lot accident

Brownsville Police confirm one person was shot in the shoulder Sunday.

The shooting reportedly followed a car accident in the parking lot of Brownsville's Sunrise Mall.

According to police, two cars crashed in the parking lot outside Dillard's.

Shots were reportedly fired after the accident.

One man was said to be shot in the shoulder and taken to the hospital.

Police said they detained one man in the shooting.

One car reportedly fled the scene.

Other suspects are reportedly still on the run.
