Police radio traffic for Cummings Middle School shooting

Action 4 News has obtained a copy of police radio traffic from the shooting of a student gunman at Brownsville's Cummings Middle School.

Jaime Gonzalez died in the hospital after being shot by a police officer around 8 a.m. Wednesday.

The 15-year-old student allegedly brought a weapon to school and charged at police.

During a Wednesday press conference, police revealed the weapon Gonzalez was carrying was a pellet gun.

Police radio traffic obtained by Action 4 News reveals that the eighth grade student was shot in the chest and the back of the head.
