Court records obtained by Action 4 News reveal the identity of a second suspect wanted for a recent carjacking and kidnapping at Harlingen's Pendleton Park.

The carjacking and kidnapping happened in the north side park during the early morning hours November 13th.

The 24-year-old victim told police he was hanging out with two teens when they turned on him, assaulted him and forced him to give them his car keys.

According to reports, the two teens forced the man into his car and were driving him to an ATM to withdraw money when the man escaped.

Harlingen police arrested 17-year-old Carlos Alberto Pineyro, Jr. on aggravated kidnapping and robbery charges over the weekend.

Court records show that the 24-year-old victim picked up Pineyro and 18-year-old Justin Richard Olivarez up off Rangerville Road shortly before the incident.

The records don't state how they knew each other or what they were doing across town at Pendleton Park but Pineyro admitted that he and Olivarez assaulted the victim there and took his car.

Pineyro remains in custody at the Cameron County jail under $250,000 dollars in bonds while Olivarez remains at large.

Public records show that Olivarez's last know address was listed at a home off White Oak Drive, just a few blocks southeast of Rangerville Road.
