A male cheerleader at Alice High School is claiming discrimination.
The teen told KRIS-TV that he was kicked off the Coyotes cheerleading squad and suspended from school after he was caught kissing another male student on campus.
According to KRIS-TV, the teen said he spent countless hours practicing to make the varsity cheer squad and he had it all taken away from him in an instant.
The teen claims that public displays of affection are common among heterosexual couples at Alice High School.
The teen told KRIS-TV that he was caught by a surveillance camera in the band hall but feels he’s being targeted because of his sexual orientation.
