More than $4.2 million dollars worth of marijuana are off the streets after Mexican soldiers discovered an underground bunker with more than a ton of marijuana.

It all happened across the border from Roma in the town of Rancherias just outside Miguel Aleman.

Mexico’s Ministry of National Defense (SEDENA) reported that soldiers were out on patrol when they made the discovery.

Soldiers found 123 bundles with about 2,563 pounds of marijuana hidden underground.

Authorities believe the drugs have a street value of $58 million pesos or about $4.2 million dollars.

No arrests have been made or identified but soldiers reported that the marijuana is being held as evidence by authorities.
