An Alamo man is recovering in the hospital after an early Tuesday morning shooting.

The incident reportedly happened off Birch Avenue early Tuesday morning.

Details were not immediately available but Alamo police said a man was shot and taken to a local hospital.

Action 4 News will proivde more information as it becomes available.
