Teens blamed in Edinburg tire fire

Authorities are investigating a tire fire in Edinburg where witnesses saw two teenagers fleeing the scene.

It all happened around noon Wednesday.

Investigators told Action 4 News that at least 1,000 tires were on the property where the fire took place.

A witness told firefighters that two teens were seen squatting near the tires and then fleeing the scene.

Action 4 News will post more information as it becomes available.
