Brownsville firefighters tackled a blaze at a vacant lot in less than 30 minutes this afternoon.

The fire started near the intersection of FM 802 and Dana Roa around 2:30 p.m. Wednesday .

Smoke made it difficult for drivers to see so police were called to direct traffic.

No injuries reported.

The fire's cause will not be investigated since firefighters say it does not seem suspicious.

The cause is undetermined.
