Fugitive Finder: Deadly Home Invasion in San Juan

San Juan police are asking for the public’s help in finding a suspect from a fatal May 2010 home invasion.

It happened at 2010 Sunset Drive around 1 a.m. on Wednesday, May 26th, 2010.

There were four male subjects involved in the home invasion and three have been already caught by authorities, except for Juan Carlos Lopez, who still remains at large.

On said date during the course of their crime the home owner was brutally gunned down and killed.

Minutes later the suspect, Juan Carlos Lopez and two other suspects became involved in a vehicular pursuit with San Juan police officers.

Two were caught but Juan Carlos Lopez managed to escape.

Lopez is 21 yrs old, 5 feet 7 inches tall and weighs around 140 pounds. He has black hair and has brown eyes.

Investigators said Lopez also resides and has family in the Rio Grande City area.

Lopez is wanted for capital murder and evading arrest. He is considered a dangerous person.
